Lessons in life (2)
The unexpected always happens and it happens for a reason or two. Like for example, we meet someone ordinary who later on becomes extraordinary. Likewise, someone may become the direct opposite, the extraordinary into the ordinary. Just yesterday, a section of the sheltered roof in my school fell injuring quite a number of people. So, there are reasons for that to happen too and that reason is independant of every single individual, that is, it is a different reason for each and everyone involved. "the only constant in life is change"
Now, the main lesson I would like all of you dear readers to contemplate on today is on the value of companionship. Companionship is NOT the same as relationship. The difference here is companionship is out to make you feel welcomed and safe while relationship is out to make you form a permanent bond. "Never leave a person who touches your soul more than your body". From time to time, there will be a bright spark in your life that comes barging into your mundane routine. Be wary of course. A true companion is one who looks deep into your eyes and sees you not as an object to fulfill his desires but to purify and touch your soul. To bring you life. To give you that radiant comfortable smile and not the forced or delusional smile.
Many a times, these bright sparks leaves your life or shuns you away, driving you into voidness and emptiness but God works His magic. Things happens for, a reason.
When the wrong person leaves your life, the right things starts to happen. Always value the importance of companionship no matter how trivial it is. Personally, I keep a very small group of friends whom I would be able to appreciate truly their importance but that does not mean I wont let anyone into my life. I value friendship so much that I am willing to leave or distant myself from those who threatens this fragile link although between them and me, there is no animosity or hatred. It is really a sad thing.
Something painful I have learnt two years in college in particular is that ,"never force yourself to have a space in anyone's life because if they really know your worth, they will create one for you." A wise and extremely valuable friend of mine once said, "If someone were to be gone from your life, do not take it as if you dont deserve them. Rather, it is them who dont deserve you"
In the subject on companionship also, a lesson I have learnt is that I dont know the key to success or everything but the, key to failure is to please everyone. We imperfect humans should have, the power to discern. The impact that someone has on your life no matter how insignificant it may be but truly how powerful it resonates deep in our hearts is, God telling you never to leave such person.
The worth of someone special is really how he or she ,acts at times of true distress. On a normal day to day basis, someone may be there for you for support or when you are in trouble, he may be there to put a smile on your face. However, the worth of a person is when he himself is put in a position of distress and has to choose between losing what he has or to save and keep that smile on your face. Before I end this, I would like to say that if you were to work hard and are kind, amazing things will happen to you. Have a good day:)
