Lessons in life (4)
My apologies for diverting the contents of my blog to be my personal life. This segment have staled over for a long time so here it is again, enjoy wan's thoughts my friends.
It doesnt take a phychologist to be able to identify certain oddity in anothers behaviour. My topic for today is simply about practising zuhud once again, the act of being in control of this temporary world without it controlling us weak human beings. Our hands n this worldly matters but our hearts reaching to God.
The matter of judging people is unavoidable and simply common human instincts. Without having a judgement on others, defies our need to characterise people and things and would lead to us making the wrong choices. However, in the long run, no doubt, it doesnt matter how much you judge or is judged, it really doesnt. As Maya Angelou says,"people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget what you made them feel". If we were to keep counting the number of times we have done good or done what is right it beats the sincerity of the cause.
One of the talks i once attended, an ustad (religious teacher) stressed the sincerity of what we are doing even to himself. He said, he was once giving a class and his students told him, "what is your niat? Otherwise, go and have a rest" He was shocked and found it rude until the student explained that he saw the ustad was very tired when he entered the class. And instead of forcing himself to teach it beats the sincerity of his work.
Why are we doing this? What is pushing us to do this and that? Look deep in your heart and you will know. Are you doing this for yourself or for others? If we know what we are doing is right, then never quit, never give up on what we think is right. If you fail in something, you failed your test, and the people you trust so much and you idolise say you wont make it, and it hurts deep, prove your worth and tell them who is boss. I personally never believed in people born with more talent than another. Being smart is really pure hardwork and sweat.
Same goes with the issue of love, if we look deep in our soul, even if we never speak a single word, we can feel and it resonates with our minds, that we liked this person and your long desired hope is for that someone to at least acknowledge you and return the love you have kept inside for so long no matter how impossible it may seem. Giving up is an attribute of the weak and waiting for things to happen isnt any better. There is never enough time for us to sit back and relax and wait for miracles to happen. Get your asses up and do whatever you can to achieve your dreams and ambition. You are never alone.
