The Milo Accident part 7

The Flower Surprise
This Plan probably became the end of all Plans but I would like to mention it earlier because the SIM card fiasco Plan is the most important so I will save the best for last. Now, as the year almost ended, Akshat wanted to give a nice surprise to Si Hui. He went shopping with Cassie if i am not mistaken and he bought a soft toy flower, the kind you give to your teachers on Teachers Day. We talked over the phone at night the day before we had one of our table tennis trainings to discuss this plan. During training, we again "excused" ourselves out by requesting to go to the toilet and then we snuck out to my classroom which was by then rather deserted. It was after the end of the year examinaions period I guess because my mind vividly recollects that the tables were now arranged in orderly straight rows to avoid cheating. She sat near the front. Akshat also had another chocolate I think but the main idea here was the flower. We had someone outside as lookout of course while we went to hook the flower to one side of her chair. We had tape that we nicked from the table tennis noticeboard design activity earlier. (I was the noticeboard i/c) We usd the tape to stick the chocolate under her chair. On the whiteboard, I partly drew a picture of Akshat and Si Hui together with a love poem. She would surely be surprised if she walks into the room to her desk. However, the next day, I went to the classroom to find that the chocs, flowers and whiteboard picture was virtually gone. News got to me that her close friends had brutally scrapped it all and were up in arms against our doings. This means war. remember the part where I talked about the Social Circle Theory? Well, we breached the wrong circle and now, like antibodies, her "girlfriends" were ready to eject us out.
The SIM card fiasco part 1
This, i daresay, is a very prominent Plan that changed the course of how things goes. At a certain point of time, the target Si Hui did not reply to Akshat's reply which made us come to the conclusion that just maybe, Akshat was not doing things right. Maybe if I was the one texting her instead, she could give a more decent response. Also, Akshat wanted to know if Si Hui could recognise the difference between Akshat's text messages and mine and thus, we came up with the "SIM card fiasco". The main idea behind here is that we would literally exchange our SIM cards in our phone and then we would trade messages with her and feel the difference. Of course, the next day we would analyse the replies with scrutiny and ensure that all was well. The secret, I hoped, would be kept between the two of us. I texted her normally the way i text any guy or girl. Akshat was adamant of course that I text the way I should. He called me every 10 minutes at night to make sure i do not screw things up. the next day, when I passed back his SIM card, he told me that he had blurted out the whole truth to Si Hui. Groans. Anyways, we analysed the text messages and spent a few minutes trying to find the best way to make things right again. however, because of his eventual "disclosure" and breach of my trust in our privacy, I became more wary of my doings. To fend myself off, I privately texted her and told her to be careful of Akshat. The back stabbing period had officially begun. Me and the anti-Akshat club which I talked about before was ready to seal off his advances once and for all.
Uncoding the Code
As soon as we got to know that Fahmi, who was part of anti-Akshat club, was a close and trusted friend of Si Hui, Akshat ensured that any funny business going on between the two had to be monitored. Si Hui was very close to the "group next door" which consisted of Fahmi, Marzuqi, Yi Ling, Afiqah and i think JinTing. One day, I noticed several note pad stickers on the group next door's tables. Each one had sentences like " I love pork chops" "I love pork chops more than marzuqi". What or who was pork chops? When I heard pork chops, Si Hui would turn over to the group next door table and laugh at an inside joke. After awhile, I deduced that Pork Chops was in fact Si Hui so I informed Akshat who went in and investigated too. I warned him that Marzuqi and Fahmi may not be so welcoming to the idea of him messing up Si Hui's life. I felt guilty playing as middlemen, rather like a hypocrite:( Fahmi and probably also Marzuqi finally came to a conclusion that Akshat was going WAY too far and hence, they wanted me to confront him to tell him to leave Si Hui alone which I claimed that he would not listen. He had a talk with Si Hui privately whether or not she wanted to talk to Akshat. However, on the whole, I could transparently see that Fahmi had a different agenda but i could not be sure. Even marzuqi could not trust him and so does the other malay community like farhan and imran. nevertheless, the two sides met, we now have a four way battle: the anti-Akshat club, the Si Hui's social circle friends, Akshat and finally, me.
